Just wondering

My fiance and I will have been talking for a year now online. I was just wondering for anyone who is a seasoned vet of the visa process could help me.... I have only been able to see my Fiancee once since we have started talking. Now, she has come to the US this last April-May and has her I-94 with a stamp and boarding passes sent w/ the I-129F package plus about 8 photos with me and my parents all dated and described. Will this be enough to prove a legit relationship? We would love to see each other more but the economy has been hard on both of us in the last year and international travel is a little too rich for our bank accts right now. I know it says you only have to provide proof that you have at least met in the last 2 years and it was hard financially just to arrange her trip to visit me here, I just worry that our relationship might be viewed as "For immigration purposes only" We really love each other very much and are willing to go through this visa hell together, we just are not rich and cannot just up and jet set around the world. What do you think?

hey...I know what you mean! I went to China in April and it was our first time meeting..she has never been to the US. I have enough photos of us together..along with boarding passes of a flight we took in China...ticket reciepts....hotel reciepts...I think that is enough. I would make some copies of emails sent between both of you also. Im new to this...very new. Good luck to both of you...Im sure it will work out.

existence of a bonifide relationship will be "judged" later by Moscow... USCIS won't pass any judgement or make any determination on this issue...

It is enough to prove meeting in person. Ongoing realtionship evidence is decided by the consulate. At the moment both Moscow and Kiev are fairly easy about this, but that can change with individual cases, policies etc. What you have is plenty for the petition but start keeping all your commuications and if possible visit more between now and the interview or go to the interview. Right now air fare to Moscow is pretty cheap. We got round trip JFK-Moscow for $519 for July travel. So it is a good time to go if you can.
