So... copying and pasting something from an old post will in no way bring the corruption to the new site, will it? I was about to do that, but just wanted to double check first.

Is there anything we should avoid copying and pasting?

Thanks for all the hard work!

edited cause forgot to tell ya how lol

click on your id and then edit signature.....then scroll down to the bottom.....delete all the code in the signature box and just redo it as you did when you first made your sig. Then there will be no more gray area around the pics

Capt'n.....I have in many of the forums linked threads directly to the archived old forum as opposed to copying and pasting. I hope thats ok  cause its taken me a long long time hahahaha

OK just had 2 goes at working at how the QUOTE part went, lol

No -copying and pasting just brings the WORDS over, not the encryted data from the old forum (which is buried in a posting table in MySQL) so it shouldn't hurt anything

I just wanted to say Thank you for all that you are doing... What a pain in the butt for you though...

I also wanted to tell you that I started a thread in the DCF area yesterday (shortly before the problems occured) & although I hear that nothing was lost, it appears as though my thread was lost. It is not in the Forums 2 (old posts) area... It's not a big deal, I will just type it again... But I wanted to let you know that it was lost... Maybe it's not the only one... ((((????))))

Thanks again for working so hard to get this all cleaned up...

Hugs

Tanya

Trying to sort out my signature - the little flags are showing as 'click to re-size' but i see others are using them with no 'click to resize' problems and it comes back as 'signature is too long'.

I even tried DELETING part of the sig but it STILL says 'too long' which is nuts seeing as I tired to REDUCE it, lol :help:

Not sure if it's a bug, but when I went to my control panel I got this message:-

Your email address has been changed because it was in use by another account. This means that all email will NOT go to your correct email address - this could include lost password notifications, etc.

Wasn't there before!

Our profile info does not show what people filed for, likewise location etc (on the left under member name). I know it is not a priority though.

If we can help in anyway to help restoration, please shout.
