Adjustment of Status for K-3

Hi every one. I arrived to US on K-3 visa recently I applied for Adjustment of Status and Work Permit after few days I received two receipts of both of application Which says that the above application has been recived blah blah and the next step is to have your biomatrics taken, if required, at US Citizenship Service Application Support Center. My question is that While I was applying for AOS in that package I sent a copy of my passport and copy of I-94 form attached to my Passport and K--3 visa copy and copy of my birth certificate and filled form G-325a all four pages Signed. In another envelope along with those receipts of receivel I have been sent back copy of form I-94, copy of my visa K-3 visa, copy of my birth certificate and G-325A form. Even though their is no error in the filling of form and signed and dated it. Does any one of you has any Idea why they sent me back these documents.

On the website of uscis I can see the the status of application and it says "Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Fingerprint fee accepted; receipt notice mailed and case pending.

On May 8, 2009, your fingerprint fee was accepted and we have mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Your case is now pending."

Any idea if I made a mistake in filing for AOS or I did it properly?

Strange, but if you did something wrong, you would of received a RFE or outright return of the package.

Any idea why they sent me those documents back? If they have rejected my case for some error then why did they posted the status of my case on their website.

On the website it says pplication Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
