Medical exam questions.

Just curious: Are they going to ask personal questions during the exam? :ole jpw pftem you have sex, with or without protection and so on? Not concerned about that since we're married, but just want to know in advance.

And what about alcohol? Do they ask if you've ever hadd alcohol or if one is a regular drinker? Is it safe to say one has sipped on rare occasions but is not alcoholic? What about smoking? Of course drugs is a no-no. Should we always say NO or NEVER?

Is any sign of illness a red flag to them? Or are they only concerned about contagious diseases, hepatitis, TB, and of course flu? What about heart condition? Or eyes and ears?

Just be honest in your answers. Social drinking on occasion is no cause for concern, nor is smoking. Depending on your health issues, there should be no problem and it may not even come up unless they are quite obvious. Again, be honest.

As far as I remember, there were no questions about drinking for me, but the doc did ask casually about smoking - but it did not seem to be part of the medical. The questions regarding drugs came at the beginning when he was going through the formal questioning.
