For those of you that received your NOA2 email notification -

What time of day did you receive it at?

Did you receive it on a weekday or a weekend?

Just curious.

11AM Wednesday for an approval the Tuesday before.

umm... never received the email approval notice.... 31 days since NOA 1 ~ we are the very fortunate ones ~ thankfully ~ it was received in the mail on 3-25-2009.

Timeline:

2/18/2009: Mailed I-129F Form

2/20/2009: NOA 1 Receipt Date

3/20/2009: NOA 2 Notice Approval Date

05/28/2009: Interview APPROVED

7/22/2009 --POE (LAX)-- We are together forever <3

AOS Journey Begins Here ^------^

7/28/2009 -- Applied for SSN & Registered for Marriage License

8/3/2009 -- Civil Ceremony

8/5/2009 -- Received Marriage Certificate via Express Mail. Pass DMV Written Exam & Received Permit

08/11/2009-- Mailed AOS to Chicago, IL

08/17/2009 -- Check clears $1010 USCIS

8/20/2009- Touched ^---^

8/21/2009-- NOA 1 for I-485 and I-765 Hard Copy

08/29/2009-- Received Biometrics Appointment Letter in the mail, dated 08/26

I received the email on May 4, 2009. The email says I was approved on March 26, 2009; so that about 39 days. Yep, that's not a typo, 39 days!

Actually, I still haven't received the NOA2. I called the USCIS on May 4th about this (because I already got the letter from the NVC and my fiancee has received the packet). They said that I should get the NOA2 by June 2. Magically, that night I got the email. So hopefully the NOA2 is in the mail now. Either that or they are going to claim they already sent it and I have to pay $300 or so (extortion money I say) for a reprint.

Weekday - came through after 2200.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I received my email at 11:15 AM on a Tuesday...I received the hard copy the following Monday (6 days later). I'm calling the NVC today to see if they have received our case.

Our I-129F Timeline:

Proposal: Dec 28 09

Sent out I-129F to VSC - Jan 20 09

I-129F received by VSC - Jan 21 09

Received NOA1 hard copy- Jan 26 09

Received NOA2 approval email - Apr 28 09 (92 days from NOA1)

Received NOA2 hard copy - May 4 09

NVC received - May 1 09

Sent to Frankfurt Embassy - May 4 09

Embassy Received - May 7 09

Medical - May 25 09

Interview - June 29 09 (154 days from NOA1) - Visa approved!

Received Visa in mail: July 3 09

POE: Oct 1 09 (JFK)

Wedding Date: Oct 17 09 :)
