Why were you denied? Normally they say they require more evidence, or a 2nd interview.

they sent me RFE ON NOVEMBER LAST YEAR.... and I sent the evidence...they got the evidence and transfered it to CSC on february and now they r sending me a denial notice in the mail...after all this wait. for nothing....:(

If you haven't had an interview, then perhaps its not a denial notice. How would you know what's in the mail anyway.

Usually after being forwarded to CSC, without interview, all you get is an approval notice.

You got an email from CRIS that said "DENIAL"??

Usually they say "notice sent", what about calling the info line?

Seems odd to deny without interview. I can see them denying if, after a long time, there is no response to an RFE they sent. But if you sent the info, and they acknowledged receipt of it, something's not jiving.

Normally, if your 485 is denied, you normally lose any benifits that are derived from that (ap/ead).

If you file an appeal for the 485, you can file to extend the EAD.

I suggest you contact a lawyer.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

you know... It seems to me that eventhough they "received" the RFE, it might never gotten to your file and they might be deniying your application because time lapsed. Thats a possibility. Unless the RFE was for something involving a criminal record etc... I am not speculating, but you'll have to wait to see the actual letter and know the reason why.

I'm thinking the same......they never connected your RFE to the file OR they never received it. Did you send it by delivery confirmation or just stick it in the mail? *If an RFE is unanswered, the application is considered abandoned*

Of course, this also depends on what your RFE was for.

Please tell me you sent the response to the RFE through either certified mail or UPS or something like that. As in: do you have a receipt of your response?

Yes I did ,,and i have the receipt of usp...they didnt sent me mail saying my case was resumed ,,only the one that says my case was forwared to csc to speed up the process.
