Hello. Sorry to post so quickly. I should have mentioned that i am going to apply for a Green Card for my new bride. I was told that this is the quickest way to go to get her into the United States. I am hoping that i am right. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Once again here is my question: To anybody and everybody. I was recently married in Colombia. I have been trying to help my new wife fill out her information via video call. On the form I-485, it asks for her I-94 number. Where does she get a I-94 number. Does she have to get that at the embassy or what? She is in Colombia. Anybody assistance from anybody would be greatly appreciated.

Since she is still in Colombia, does she need to fill out the I-485 Form yet?

You cannot apply for a greencard for your bride... It is the alien's application... the alien need to be IN the USA before the I-485 can be submitted

Whoever told you this information was wrong and it might be best to stop listening to them

SHE NEEDS A VISA!!!!

K-3 is one option but there is also the CR/IR spousal visa... learn both and then decide the one best suited for your needs

YMMV
