BIOMETRICS???

i had my biometrics appointment yesterday. i knew that they would say i had very faint fingerprints. i went there and she took my fingerprints she said that she surely thinks i will have to retake it coz they are not clear. i wonder if she will any clearer ones if i retake it coz i believe that it was as clear as it could be. does anyone know how long it will take for me to get a letter for the second appointment. also she didnt take the ink prints. what if my second fingerprints are like the first one...then whats the next step. i still cant see an of my cases online

Maybe your hands were sweating when you had your fingerprints taken.

I had that problem before too at my POE and the IO told me to dry my hands.

It did worked though.

Hi Wisdom,

TinTin received notification 7 days after taking the first set of fingerprints at her biometric appointment that those prints were not good and that she had to come back for a second attempt. We returned to the same location a second time where they retook all her fingerprints. Three days later, I called the FBI Status line to confirm if the 2nd set of prints was accepted and the results were forwarded onto USCIS. They were. We are happy.

They usually use Corn Huskers Lotion to make the fingerprints clear. It is not dry at all.
