Hello!

My husband and I sent in the AOS/EAD/AP papers in January. He has received his EAD and AP. We did Biometrics.

When I look on the website to see if AOS has been "touched" nothing has happened in 2 months. Here is what it says:

On January 12, 2009, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

If you would like to see our current Processing Dates for Applications and Petitions, click here.

So I click "here" and go to National Benefits processing times and do not see any thing for AOS. Am I missing something? Should I be looking in the Feild Office timelines? The above states it is at the NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location.

Thanks for any answers!

Irie

No, you're probably not missing anything. Lots of people have reported getting things in the mail like RFEs, EAD cards, Green Cards...without ever seeing the status change. We got a GC last week and our status is still pending.

Be glad you missed it - their processing times show the oldest pending cases currently being worked and would only serve to give you gray hair. Based on your timeline (and the fact that your AP & EAD are already approved) I'd say you've nothing to worry about at this point.
