We are getting married here in a couple of weeks - just a small thing, but not sure exactly where yet- and waiting to have a full ceremony next year. Was just interested in hearing anyone elses Vegas wedding experiences- any Elvis or Drive-through weddings?! :energetic:

WE did Vegas -- Little Church of the West, just south of the strip. The chapel is very cute and the staff were great -- it's also where elvis and anne-margaret get married in Viva Las Vegas.

I scheduled it for right at sunset and they had all these little twinkling lights in the trees outside, so for me the setting for me was perfect. We pushed the boat out and stayed at the four seasons, which was very nice.

We also won $600 bucks on the slots the night before -- enough to pay for AOS! Way to start married life!

Thats awesome! And you won $600!!! perfect! I told myself I would never spend a dollar in the casinos- as I didnt want to get addicted! But Toran always gives me $10 to go play- Ive yet to win anything- but I can feel myself getting more and more lured in! Its all the pretty flashing lights!!

 good ole sin city!

I got married to my ex there. It was fun. Too bad it was to the wrong person! Stayed at the Mirage and really enjoyed it, but that was a long time ago.

Enjoy!

We did the Vegas thing and wouldn't have had it any other way. We didn't do a fancy chapel or anything as we didn't have any guests. We too won money to pay for the whole trip so it was worth it in every respect. Go for it - it's your own day so do what you want.

Maybe I can convince hubby to take me out there for a second honeymoon - well we didn't REALLY have a proper honeymoon with the first wedding...so there's definitely a chance. He HATES gambling though. I have a feeling if I got him at the craps machines...he'd like it heaps more.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

We did Vegas. Civil marriage commissioners office, nothing fancy. Flew in to Vegas around 9pm, got the license later that night. Then woke up at 8am the next morning, was married by 10 or so IIRC. Spent the rest of the day checking out Vegas and flew back home the next day. Why did I do it? Because I could.

Well think we have decided on the Little White Wedding Chapel this saturday (I hear its the one all the celebs go to- thats a bit off putting, but hey!). Now to decide on what to wear.....I have images of Superman and Superwoman outfits!! I wanna do this thing in style!!

Following by some big time partying round the town with all our pals- and if im lucky like some of you we'll win the money to pay for it all!

So...If any of you fancy a trip to Vegas..... ;)
