HOW DOES NVC INFORM

Hey friends, I have a quick question

Once NVC has completed the processing of your case and ready to forward the case to home country, how do they inform the applicant? Do they send the letter to beneficiery or spouse in US?

I have submitted all of my documents, requested by NVC in RFE ,3-4 weeks ago but still no response. Does NVC inform applicant once they are done with the processing or not? Is there any website where I can see the status of my application online?

Have you called them? After we submitted all our documents, we called every day for status updates.

Agreed you need to call NVC and speak to an operator. The AVR is not reliable. Good Luck!!!

Thats for sure!...when we went thru NVC for my wife the NVC AVR reported our case as "record not found" all during and even after NVC completed our case...

NVC will not call you for case completion or RFE; you call them and find out or just wait for AVR update or wait for e-mail about an interview. Interview letter receive by both petitioner and beneficiary. Interestingly, whenever you talk to NVC about your case they verify your phone number.

I agree with canadian wife, you should call NVC everyday....it's a pain, but well worth it, especially if you get a RFE....the sooner you know about problems, the sooner you can respond...

100% True. I kept on calling NVC and talking to the operator and found out that I had RFE's before they even updated the AVR. I was able to send out the package even before the official checklist reached me and they scanned it in their system right away.
