I am going to try this again....Our packet 3 was received by the Embassy on February 5th, 2009. After waiting, and a few phone calls we have been told we are missing Form DS - 169 (checklist). My fiance' did not receive that form with his packet and we cannot find a download for it either. Does anyone have any information as to where we could find this, or have any of you had similar problems? Thank you for any help you can give us on this subject!

Jim and I met on December 23rd, 2006 in New York while he was visiting his American relatives for Christmas. I was invited to attend a New Years Eve party that he was attending also. That night we fell in love, and our wonderful journey began. Now 18 visits between us and the journey continues....

Engaged 11/23/2007 (Proposed to me in Venice at St Marks Square during my October visit, but became official in November during Jim's visit to join my family for Thanksgiving)

Filed for I-129 9/11/2008 (Jim visited for Labor Day weekend and we worked on our final paperwork together. After his return to the Uk I filed immediately)

NOA 1 9/12/2008 (Woo Hoo, they cashed the check)

NOA 2 12/29/2008 ( I was in Wales with Jim when the letter arrived, on our 2nd anniversary, December 31st. We found out when I returned home! A fantastic beginning to the New Year and a wonderful way to cheer us both up after parting after a 13 day visit)

Recieved Packet 3 1/31/2009 (Jim did this work himself, and I have as of today...yeah! 2/11/09 ..all the paperwork together for the interview. I am attending the interview with Jim so I will personally deliver everything needed. I can't wait! Finally the light!)

Sent Packet 3 2/03/2009

Medical 2/11/2009

Interview 4/08/2009

Visa Received 4/14/2009

This is an outdated form (May & Sept'99) DS-169 It even has the old way to get a police certificate.

This is a more recent checklist http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/forms...t_Readiness.pdf
