For China, we have to wait for the file to actually reach the Consulate (2.5 to 4 mos), before they send out the interview letter. We called twice a day for the last 2 weeks, because of the possibility of the expedite. Yizhen is in the US with a K-3, since Aug. 2007, and it they said takes about 30 days for the letter to reach the states. We needed to know as soon as possible, so that we could prepare to return to China. We called the D.O.S. Visa Information Line, 202-663-1225 - 1 - 0. They were very helpful, and always kind, I would ask if I am calling too often, and they always said no, this is our job. Mike & Yizhen

My case completed in mid-march so I am waiting for May month interview.

i think we have to wait untill april 6 to see if we got somethin cos the interview got schedul evry 2nd week of the mounth for the next mounth so for may we have to call beetwen april 6 to 10 keep in touche everybody

While there are never any guarantees with this process, keep in mind that last month interview dates were being scheduled though the last week of the month. Those of us that have been completed since January/February may hear something next week. I know I will be calling at least every other day from here on in. The worst they can tell us to call back....I've certainly heard that more than once.

Case completed March 23... NVC operator said maybe i could get a May interview or early June...
