My fiance has a two year old little girl and is concerned about the K2 process. She and the father were not married but she put the child's father's name on the birth certificate along with hers because she was hopeful for a relationship with the child and the child's father. He has never provided support to the child and my fiance is not sure of his where abouts to get his permission for the child to leave the coutry. We will start the K1 process in August and it is our understanding that K1 and K2 should be done together. What needs to be done in this situation?
