i passed my medical last february 9 and 10. my problem now is, SLEC have my passport 'coz they'll be the one forwarding my passport and medical forms to US embassy.. i haven't paid my interview fee at BDO. my friend said that, she showed her DS 157 form and passport upon paying the interview fee.

my question is, can BDO accept my payment without my passport? or should i go back to SLEC and borrow my passport for a while, then pay at interview fee at BDO, then return to SLEC just to give back my passport.. which sounds not easy to do.. there are lot of applicant there and they might now prioritize my concern.

another problem is: the paper works needed for US embassy interview from my fiance was sent today thru UPS. UPS said that TENTATIVE delivery date is: february 20, 2009. that really depends on the bureau of customs... i'm now worried if UPS will deliver it later than february 20. my interview date is february 24, and last date for rescheduling my interview is february 20. should i move my interview date or just pray that UPS will be delivering my papers on time. any suggestions please? is UPS really reliable? :(

You can pay at BDO without your passport. They didn`t even ask for anything from me when I paid.

I just filled up a form from them and paid the 131$ visa fee in pesos. Then they`ll give you a DS157 form with validation at the back and the receipt. Maybe you can bring also your own DS157 form just in case they don`t have so they can just validate it, though usually they have.

Goodluck.

Trisha just paid the $131 on feb 12th. They just checked a photo ID. So a postal ID, drivers license etc would work and did in her case.

If the docs do not arrive by the 22nd perhaps you resched the interview.

You say he shipped today, Saturday. Unless he paid for expedited service, UPS will not begin processng the package until Monday, Feb. 16. Since the delivery date is "tentative," it appears he used their economy rate. Can he return today to the UPS office & get it shipped at the higher rate to guarantee delivery by Wednesday?

i'm just checking the package sent through it's tracking number. i think it's impossible to retrieve the package anymore. i'm not sure though if he paid extra to expedite the service. just crossing my fingers that the papers will arrive before the 20th of february.

another question is, do i still need to fill up and provide DS 230 for my interview?

because when i checked this link, http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf about k1 interview preparations, DS 230 was not mentioned.
