hi guys, newbie here but i have been readin a lot of posts on this great forum.i want to pose my situation to you guys for some advice. I am an R.N. on a TN visa (in california) and it is expiring this April.i am engaged to a US citizen (she is in virginia for school and also is an RN).I understand i have to move to virginia so that we can have proof of common residence for AOS application.but the EAD on average takes about 3 months. So i dont know if i can get a job in virginia prior to moving there,in which case, i have to get a new TN visa and then get married a couple of months after and then apply for AOS.Is this risky as far as getting back into the US while obtaining my TN. Should i just quit my job in california, get married and then apply for AOS and hopefully my EAD comes in quickly? I just dont know as far as timeline on what to do first or in order...i dont want to be off work for too long or if possible not be off work at all. We are open to getting married any time.the complication is the the TN expiration in april.i dont know if i should renew it for my current employer and stay in california.Do i absolutely have to move to VA or is there some other evidence that i can provide to show proof of a bonafide marriage.is there some type of employment authorization that i can apply for since im already here while awaiting for EAD or am i doomed to be unemployed for AT LEAST 3 months. i would appreciate any input.

A couple of people have responded to your thread in the Canada Forum that you posted there about this.
