Hi,

Do ya'll think the following is enough for evidence? Thanks so much for reading; I would value and appreciate anyone's opinion. Good luck with your situation, whatever it is.

Evidence:

Several Holiday cards postmarked and addressed to both of us; we also have a couple of cards from earlier in the year from friends for baby shower and wedding invitations.

3 notarized affidavit letters from friends

Health Insurance Card issued from my employer in my wife’s name

Life Insurance in both names

Employment beneficiary letter designating my wife as my beneficiary

Monthly Bills: (Phone bill, Electrical bill and Comcast Cable TV in both of our names

Joint bank account statement in both our names

Photos spanning over almost 2 years including wedding, honeymoon, and miscellaneous photos

I already have an old car; we are ironically looking at getting a new one at some point in both our names, but I doubt we will be able to before the interview. My house is only in my name for now; I doubt I will be able to change it to both names before interview. I'm hoping my existing info that I specified is enough.

Sure, plenty. You could have skipped the affidavits. Were they fun?

not every married couple has all assets in both names remember - you don't have to have every single car and every single property in both your names to prove you are married,

you have a lot of proof there, should be just fine :)

01/15/2008 - Proposed

03/15/2008 - Married

09/02/2008 - Sent AOS Package (I-130, I-485, I-693)

09/16/2008 - Received notice for biometrics appointment on 09/30/2008

09/20/2008 - Biometrics done - Walk in (Orlando) Took 10 minutes

09/22/2008 - I-485 viewable online (pending, of course)

09/30/2008 - Biometrics Appointment (2pm)

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your input; anyone else?

Yes Pushbrk, the affidavits were "fun"...mainly just a pain getting them notarized. I hated asking my friends to get them notarized, but I felt it was better to do so. Just inconvenient, mainly, but at least it's done.

hi i'm just curious is this an interview for AOS or removal of conditions because it seems that you have so much evidence already? i'm afraid that if ever i get interviewed for my greencard i will not be able to produce this much evidence since i have only been here for three mos.

they will take that into account, you can't be expected to join every account and asset and change all your mailing labels the day you get married

thanks. although i still don't know if i will be interviewed or not since i'm on K1 i'm still worried coz the proofs that we have so far are weddings pics, holiday pics, 2 joint bank accounts, health insurance card and maybe my name on his tax return (i don't know if that's how it works since I'm not familiar with the tax code here). maybe i should ask him to change the deed of our house so my name will be included.

What was the text of the letters that your friends write down, because we were on interview the day before yesterday and the officer ask us for that kind of letter.

Thanks a lot for the help.
