I need to Vent and some help!!

I PMed Crazyinlove yesterday offering my support and advice....I had no reply....so it is my conclusion that she is feeling hurt and angry and using this thread to hit out and hurt back publically, which was my first thought anyway.

Of course her actions are understandable given what she is telling us, but I think she may regret it later.

And there is always two stories to tell.....

Hope you both reach a point where you can be happy again.....be that together or apart....good luck!

You got that right. I came clean the night all of this hit the fan, and the day after. However, she has yet to come completely clean with her recent "involvement" with an American she met in Texas the week after we broke it off, and doesn't show any signs of coming clean. I've got a few emails that directly contradict what she's supposedly telling me, so I just can't do this any further. It's over, and done with, I guess. And I'd reckon she's blown any chances of me keeping in contact. I mean, if you can't even tell your friend the truth, what's the point anymore?

I know it hurts a lot, but be very very grateful that you found this out now instead of after you had left hearth and home in Oz to marry and live with his dead a$$.

That is so true, better now than when you had got married. It is going to be hard but you will come out at the other end and will then be able to get on with your life. Keep your chin up, get out and about and see your friends and family. Hugs to you

I agree...sounds like there is hurt caused by both sides. That is why I said there is 3 sides to every story. I for one don't believe in broadcasting those sort of problems on the internet. I think it only degrades the relationship. That is only my opinion. Both the OP and Ky, need to talk about this alone or with a devils advocate if need be, but not here.

Very difficult to advocate in the matters of infidelity. It is possible to mend and reconcile, but that journey is sometimes longer and harder than the immigration one. Peace to you both.

Yes, it is very hard to get over infidelity. It takes two really strong people to work together and rise above it. I know that for me personally....no way in hell would I be able to move on with that person. Call me weak, call me whatever but I do have a lot of respect for those couples that can get over it and rebuild their relationship and start over. If the OP and KY are willing and able to do that, then by all means we should be supportive of them, but I don't think that they should use a public forum to do just that. I know a lady that was with her husband for 25 years when the love of her life decided to have a midlife crisis and went off with a lady that was half his age. Their marriage lasted all of 5 years. He then went back to my firend and they started dating and a month later he moved back in, a few months after that, they remarried!! Unforunately he passed away but they had another 15 years together. You have to respect the courage and the guts it takes to work that out. Whatever you may do OP and KY....we are thinking of you.
