I used to have a co-worker who came from a country in which polygamy was practiced.I asked her why people still practiced it and she gave me a totally logical explanation.She explained that one wife goes to work with the husband and the other one babysits.

Why not just marry one woman and hire someone to work for you and hire someone to babysit your children and hire someone to cook for you and hire someone to deep throat you, etc.......

Of course, one must wonder, in that scenario, what is the woman you're married to do?

In prior generations of Josephs family there were anywhere from 2 to 7 wives. It can make for a lot of kids. I guess if you grow up where being one of many is the norm than that is what you expect.
