IF the LA times (or whoever) felt this subject was okay for a serious article, I hardly see how anyone can attack the making of a satire of the article.

As for song selection, I give it a "c", not one of Rush's best choices of songs to use as a parody.

The more that Republicans try to claim their attitudes aren't racist, the more they seem to show they are. Worse is that Obama is looking to be as moderate as many of us have said all along he was. There's nothing the GOP hates worse than a moderate Democrat (e.g., Clinton). So, expect more of the racist slurs. But, it's OK, the Rethugs are digging their own grave as evidenced by the last election. In four more years, these people will marginalized and irrelevant.

If I may throw my foreign two-penneth into the mix here: does any sane USC take either the likes of Sharpton or Limbaugh remotely seriously? Honestly?

On the one hand, we have the old school right winger, panicking as he sees the "establishment" at least beginning to disintegrate before his eyes, and on the other hand, we have Sharpton, a man with not so much a chip but a lumber yard on his shoulder, oozing bitterness and resentment through every pore. Whilst the rest of us (to whom I will refer as the "normal" people) are just saying "meh........whatever............really don't care who's in charge....or what colour you are.......you're all as bent as each other and just looking after number one."

Or am I being a tad simplistic?
