"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

The long flight from PI to USA is killer for me, it's the worst part of the trip for me.

If your flying PAL, they offer free beer on International Flights.

Drink a couple as soon as you get in the air, and take a long restful nap.......

You shou;d also have your x-ray cd and a letter regarding your greencard. Your passport will be your temporary green card since you're IR-2.

what letter? after the interview with an immigration officer, by the way they looked like police officers, they just let me signed on the white medium sized card plus thumb mark. they told me that i shall receive my GC within 3mo-1 yr.. but no letter..

A letter stating that you'll be receiving your green card in four months. In my case I received my GC within two weeks. Average is one month. Anyway, just wait for your GC and the number written beside your visa is already your Alien Certificate of Registration number. Also, you'll be receiving welcome letter in the mail within a week or so. Meantime you can already apply for a Social Security Number and then apply for a driver's license state id. Just check also when you can already apply for US citizenship. For IR-1 applicants, we can already apply for citizenship within three years instead of the usual five. And in the meantime, you are not allowed to vote as this means deportation.
