Any problem without X-Ray for pregnant wife?

My wife is 5-months pregnant.

She had her medical exam today in Montreal. The doctors advised her NOT to do the X-Ray test because the baby will have a high risk of leukemia. He also suggested my wife to get a letter from her family doctor for a reason to skip the X-Ray test.

Without the X-Ray test, I wonder my wife will have any problem such as visa delay at the Montreal Consulate for her interview (IR1 visa) next month?

I heard in some worst cases that the Consulate went ahead with the interview as schedule, but they held the visa until the pregnant woman giving birth, then going for X-Ray test, then submitting the result in order to get the Visa. I wonder it's true.

Thanks
