No problem unless denied for other than the "normal" reason MOST filipinos who apply for tourist visas are denied which is not proving they HAVE to return to PI and won't go TNT [illegal].

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

My fiance applied for a tourist visa first, too. and he was denied. They said he needed $5000 in the bank, among other things.

The two visas are completely unrelated, just make sure you are completely honest in both so that there are no blaring differences and no reason to think of visa fraud.

so far we have no problems... then again, millions of august filers and september even, are getting approved and we are still waiting... :bonk:

good luck!

HELLO!! There would be no problem about it co's i tried to apply for tourist visa while our case(K1) was already filed.BUT be sure during your interview, the consul will ask you about it, and BE HONEST that you tell the truth, won't affect your case, trust me this is base on my experienced.Good luck and merry x'mas kababayan:)
