We always use xoom. at first it would take like 24 hours before she could pick up, but I have been such a good customer (or they have gotten faster not sure which) now its there in a few hours at 3.99 a transaction. Xoom rate does go up depending on the amount you send. When I send big transfers to Radz it cost a little more but always way less than Western Union and She always gets the money no problem.

I use Moneygram in sending money to the Phlippines. Its fast and realiable aside from the fact its way cheaper than WESTERN UNION. $500 dollar or less charged 9.90 and last time when I sent $1,200 the service charge was only$12.00.

Hi everybody, i live here in miami florida, and my fiancee is from cebu philippines, she is 2 months pregnant, and i need to send her money. can anyone tell me what is the best way to send money to the philippines? i would like to do it online if possible.

My husband sends me money when i was still in the Philippines and now that I am here in Georgia we are sending my family money every month and since 2003 we been using MONEYGRAM to send money to the Philippines. It is cheaper than any other even cheaper than what was mentioned here. It is not just cheaper but also will receive the money in minutes just like western union.

Cheaper Rate $1- $500 is only $9.46 and receive in minutes just like western union.

PNB Rapid Remit dollar to peso fees are less than that. I've been using for about 2 years now to send monthy allowance to my asawa's family to their ATM account. No problems so far. Money is available within 3-4 days. The exchange rate is almost as good as BPI, and much better than most of the other options, especially Western Union. Western Union is fast, but at least with the ATM card, they can withdraw what they want as needed and not be stalked at Western Union outlets by shady types who know there's a lotta loot that just walked out. NEVER pick up cash alone!!!
