just want to ask if it is possible for denie my pitition to my fiancee bacause she just turn 18 last month and i'm going to 45..is everyone know got approve with big age gap like us..thank you so much hope to hear ur answer soon..

I dont think you would be denied no. I read a huge age gap might cause them to look a little more into it, but not a cause for denial. Idk, i've seen older guys (50s-60s) with young gals (20s looking) get approved, so i wouldnt worry!

No matter your opinion on the matter, it is against the TOS to verbally attack another member of this website.

Please try to be respectful to all in your replies.

To the OP, that age factor does not always come into play but it really matters what Embassy you are going through as not all are created equally. Your significant age difference, and the fact that your fiance is so young, may very well play into the CO's decision. There will be much higher scrutiny involved at a high fraud Embassy. More details are needed to get a more accurate answer.

Normally the age difference doesn't seem to matter much, but an example of where it would probably lead to denial is if your fiance turned up pregnant, and it's clear she was pregnant BEFORE turning 18. As I understand it the US is pretty big on prosecuting people for having sex with minors even when it happens outside of the country. The fine line between adult and minors is probably the only thing about this situation that would be any different from the hundreds of other huge age gap situations in the philippines.

I would expect three additional kinds of scrutiny. One for the bona fide ongoing relationship issue which multiple visits tends to satisfy. A second may well be an investigation of whether your relationship was a bit too "bona fide" prior to her 18th birthday, so be prepared. Third or actually integral to the first two will be the issue of how you met. There are various "meeting" possibilities that could be reasons for denial outright or just raise additional red flags. Other than that, Manila is accustomed to seeing large age differences and that in and of itself is not a legitimate reason for denial.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
