I just wonder how long it takes to get EAD after biometric. Some people get green card without getting EAD and AP. I guess it depends on IOs.

No touch. No news so far. Not even been transferred to CSC.

7/19 AOS package has been mailed

7/21 AOS package was arrived in Chicogo.

7/28 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP

8/15 Biometric done

It took about 2 1/2 months for my husband after biometrics. They just sent a letter with the EAD card. We didn't get any kind of notice they were sending it.

Give it a bit more time. It took 5 weeks to get my husbands EAD after the bio (4/10-5/16), but we are still waiting for a touch...transfer...anything on the AOS. We filed March 12th and still have nothing, no RFE..nothing. I understand your frustration...believe me! There are a couple of March filers who just got their EAD's in the last few weeks, so all parts of this waiting game are frustrating. It's frustrating to see people who filed 1 and 2 months after me already getting interviews and green cards. I'm very happy for them and would just like to join the crowd! Even though my husband already has his EAD, he still can't find a decent job. It's tough out there.

Hang on (you may have a long wait ahead) and the best of luck to you!

I've thought about the same thing. Though I have a pretty strong resume, I don't want to sit at home. So, sale associate is not a bad idea.

Don't let the choices chose you, chose the choices that you want.

When my sister-in-law went for her biometrics, some misinformed ASC employee told her that she should received her EAD in about 3 weeks. That was 6 weeks ago!

Ahhh, I still have no update. It makes me soo worried. I practice for my interview. But, without EAD, I cannot get motivated so much!!

The good news is that USCIS is now processing June 18th files. It means that we are gonna be approved soon!

I always recommend taking at look at the immigration timeline stats through the link at the top of the page. This link can be very helpful and is why several members here always encourage everyone to complete their timeline info.

Any updates anyone? I have no updates. And it pisses me off to see that they do not process based on the received date.

I can totally understand that. The officer at the local USCIS told me that I should get mine within 30 days. Oh great! I have been waiting for more than 5 weeks since biometric. and it is insane that I cannot even apply for a job because they ask me to show the card.
