I don't think I would go the CR1 route. Still not a 100 percent sure though.

We've waited very long, and God knows when we'll get the approval. And from what I've read, going CR1 could take longer than just a weeks extra. NVC sometimes loses cases (I read about somewhere on VJ whose case got to NVC after a whole year!) . Also other things can take time, more chances of getting an AP after the interview, etc.

Will have to deal with AOS later but atleast we'd be together through it all, that's what matters.

Your K-3 will go through NVC as well, so they could lose it just as easily. But everyone has different needs, so it's actually good that USCIS gives you the choice.

(Did I just use "good" and "USCIS" in the same sentence. I must be drunk.)

I need a beer or ten myself after constant disappointment with USCIS and now today....the fiasco on Wall Street!

Just a quick note to let you know my 130 was approved on September 17th. I was transferred to CSC on August 13th. Got the email at 10:15 PM.

The 129F was not transferred to CSC and has not been touched or approved. So I guess it is the CR1 route for us.

Good luck to everyone.

That's great Garu. Congrats.

I'm in shock right now and still don't believe it, but I think I've been APPROVED!!

I heard we got 3 mails on 17th September saying our I129F and I130 have been approved. I don't know what the third letter says since I'm here in Pk. I just found out on my 18th and its my birthday!!

My family who opened the letter is saying case forwarded to Islamabad, but that's confusing, should be sent to NVC. Will know more when they wake up again I suppose.

Doesn't seem real right now, website hasnt updated. But i'm soooooooo happyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pray guys rest of the journey goes fine!

Congratulations Zidane!!!

This is great news specially in your case because you were approved from VSC instead of transferred to CSC. So your approval gives hope to everyone that is still at VSC.

Good luck to you and everyone.

Hey everybody!

Congratulations to all recenly approved! I'm happy for you!

Not to kill anyone's joy, I know that when I-130 and I-129F are filed, they use the I-130 date to process... today, I got a different answer--not from a representative, but my call was escalated to someone else per my request and they said it will be processed by I-129F date (#######)!

I don't know what to believe anymore. Maybe I should not believe in anything. Low expectations are hard to disappoint...

(But I hope they go for the I-130 date)

Well, when you look at the k3 spreadsheets, it does appear that way actually that they're going by the 129F and not the 130 and for processing the K3, that's what makes sense too!

You know, John McCain was saying today that he would fire SEC Chairman Chritopher Cox, well, I want to fire the entire management at the Vermont Service Center... I wish I was in charge--heads would have rolled!
