Narcissistic or necessary ?

I have a friend who is always checking himself out when he lifts.He says it's necessary,I just think he's full of himself.

it's sometimes necessary to see if you're lifting properly, some exercises have to be done in an specific way.. but just to correct, not ALL the fukcin time.. the guys who look all the time.. yea they're fukcin narcissists.. and probly gay.. staring at other guy's butts and stuff

I admit, I shamelessly like to look at myself when I'm working out. I wouldn't classify myself as a narcissist...mainly I like to see the results of the work I've done. Plus it is fascinating watching muscles flex and release etc.

But...yes there are a LOT of narcissists at your local gym on any given day. I guess they tend to be the more arrogant a-holes that you come across that are that way.

it is easier to maintain form looking in the mirror...example-when you're doing curls, if your arm goes past a 90 degree angle you are no longer working your bisceps- you're working the shoulders.

it is easier to maintain form looking in the mirror...example-when you're doing curls, if your arm goes past a 90 degree angle you are no longer working your bisceps- you're working the shoulders.

Yeah it helps to correct technique - doesn't really bother me all that much. I'm more shocked at the nut-busting faces and grunts that guys do at the gym. Its really cringeworthy.
