Lol...Aren't we all Canadians exports? (just kidding). Seriously though, you kind of have to wonder why all the Canadian talent is headed down south to America, which Canadian culture-wise is somewhat unfortunate.....

Do we really need to answer this :lol: - I don't really see how Celine heading for Vegas affects Canadian culture at all (and I don't mean I don't like Celine, because I do).

I have been listening to a bit of Elton John this week - not a huge surprise as he is my favorite music person.

Mel is huge Elton John fan. Plays and sings many of his songs on the piano. He has been nicknamed Melton John- of course.

thetreble and I are going to see Tegan & Sara (a Canadian band) in a few weeks.

Oh no there's gonna be trouble in Philly I tell ya...the Canadian girls are gonna be on the loose. :lol:

Just ordered Gordie Sampson's newest CD - i'll be listening to that as soon as it arrives :)

Let me know what you think of it! I am putting together my list of "CDs I need to buy when visiting home" and that might make it. :)

I am listening to the sweet sound of..... NOTHING. :luv: I have the house to myself for a very short period.... the phone hasn't rung.... the cat is not meowing. I am in heaven. My hubby would correct me on that because I am so obviously not in heaven. Or maybe I am and you are all reading ghostly writings. :ph34r:

Ha! I like tegan and sara. Back in your head is the best song. I also like tv on the radio. Wolf parade was here a few weeks ago ( I think they're Canadian) but I didn't go this time. They rocked the last time I saw them though.

I saw wolf parade in Chicago a few years ago, amazing show. I had tickets to their show this past summer but couldn't go due to having to leave for lollapalooza that night. :(

Right now, I'm listening to the Clash, Should I Stay or Should I Go. But when hubby was in the room a minute ago, I had to be mean and play "Canadian Idiot" by Weird Al. (Laughs evilly).

This past week I have had a renewed love for Bob Seger.

Working on those night moves??

I don't listen to a lot of music that is played on the radio..pretty much none to be exact. I'm a huge underground music scene kind of girl. Plus I listen to a lot of..hardcore music.

ANy ways, I've been listening to a little bit of Mates of State. (nevada..help me out here! haha)

There is a new BBC show called Gavin and Stacey. The theme song is called Run by Stephen Fretwell and I really like it.

Beejay you rock. We can now include you in our music circle since you are a fan of T&S and Wolf Parade. Sprailenes and I are def. going to take Philly by storm.

Listening to sirens at present. There are always sirens going in this little New England town. Never seems to stop. We WERE going to take an apartment next to a firehouse - SURE glad we didn't... they seem to be coming & going all the time.
