Seems to me that we need a UK footie thread here. When I first joined VJ, I put one in the off topic forum, but putting it here would be a much better thread seeing as OT is primarily a forum where USCs post.

I'm Southampton fan btw, and just watched us lose to fuckin Blackpool, ffs. :angry:

Abit of a pasting there for us at the #######. But after three games if somebody said to me, we'd have four points after trips to Old Trafford & the emirates I'd have taken that. :)

We just need to bolster the squad over the next few days before the transfer door shuts.

04/11/2008 -Steven comes back to Scotland for the Celebrations!

09/11/2008- We return home together!

Nicky, you need a whole lot more than a few new signings. That club is a shambles behind the scenes - Dennis Wise pulling the strings!!??? KK won't put up with that for very long, mark my words.

I agree with you the whole thing stinks. As a former season ticket holder (I cant make use of it here in Chicago) I can assure you nobody back home is happy with what's going on with the "scouting system".

But the immediate thought right now is, we need players in, not just a "wow" signing neither, to cope with the coming season. The behind the scenes ####### will ultimately be the demise of KK just like it was in January 97. To be honest, I'm surprised he didn't walk at the end of last season.

The thought of Wise being our manager is not one I really want to think about right now. :no:

Missed it..I made Nicky go with me to watch my American football game. Was the game at Celtic Park...that would add insult to injury.
