As someone who filed at CSC in November, and received the NOA1 in February, I am extremely frustrated by this.

And, while I don't want to offend anyone, it is really aggravating to hear people who have just applied complaining about the wait.

2007-11-30: I-129F received by CSC

2008-02-04: NOA1

2009-03-02: NOA2

2009-03-12: Received by NVC

2009-04-16: Sent to consulate

2009-05-23: Packet 3 received

as i mentioned in my other post:

these dates really are a joke...i dont really buy any of it...these dates are just a cushion for USCIS employees just so when someone calls yelling at them they have something to back themselves up....why else would u think that the dates are either one month or fifteen days backward or forward every single time...its very clear that they just come up with these dates speculating by either one full month or half a month....folks, please dont bother urself with these dates...they will only drive u crazy.

Let's get a grip people.

We know that Vermont is transfering petitions to California. So why would Cali update their dates further? They have to plow through the transfers before anything can move forward date-wise. But they ARE PLOWING THROUGH THE TRANSFERS.

Vermont is Vermont. They are what they are at this point.

It is really irritating to see people who just filed already losing patience. If you can't hack it now, you might as well pack it in. It doesn't get any better.

Well said...

I agree...

god.. this is really irritating and frustrating! Most of the people who submitted after us are ahead of us now receiving their NVC's and interviews! Ours taking forever! We don't know what to do! We submitted first and now we are way way below than those who just submitted! What system does CSC have?

Remember everyone, these dates are listing the earliest incomplete application.

This / these applications may be outstanding due to any number of reasons including RFE's.

I'll be the odd duck out...

I firmly believe that everyone on this site has a right to vent their frustration... I want dearly, more than words can say, to be with my husband. My missing him is no better or no worse than anyone else missing theri loved one. Don't tell me that I don't have the right to be frustrated/sad/angry. I don't dare discount your frustration, so please, respect mine. Dates moving backwards affect all of us.

I wasn't. A question was asked and I felt like answering it. Don't get mad when this was a) not directed at you and b ) I am also allowed to express feelings and opinions.

This is insane. I applied for AOS and EAD on the 19th of July. I checkd USCIS website yesterday and it said they just completed April 16th applicants. what??? now it says they are processing April 1st applicants. I have no idea what they are thinking. I called up USCIS because I had a huge problem tracking my case online previously and the lady who was supposed to be a supervisor was being sooooo rude and angry. She just simply said our website has trouble. Soooo retarded. We all pay insane amount of money from our paychecks and now, we are their customers and we are calling to customer service. Sooo crazy response. If they have trouble on website, they must fix. I paid 1010 dollar from my saving for my AOS and EAD and it is so hard to live with no job in this economy.

They have no idea who dumb they are.

7/19 AOS package has been mailed

7/21 AOS package was arrived in Chicogo.

7/28 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP

8/15 Biometric done

Have you called NVC to see if it is received (I do not know about your case, so I am not degrading you, I am just trying to see if I can help) Ususally you have to talk to a live operator in order to get the most up to date information.

The point is that if you are frustrated and angry after a month or two, you're going to be impossible in another 4 or 5 months. So either you adjust your expecations so that you can live with the process, or you DECIDE to be miserable for the 6+ months that this process takes. And it is a choice. So if you are choosing to be frustrated and irritated now, I can choose to feel that your frustration and irritation is more about a lack of maturity than it is about USCIS' processing dates.

Adults set expectations and have patience. While you may miss your loved one, you entered into a situation knowing that it would take time to be reunited. You made this choice, nobody made it for you. So, you have to learn to make peace with what you are experiencing.
