I have a question, Our K1 visa was approved on Aug 7/08( NOA2) as to date there is nothing in NVC system about our application.

Is there something Im missing ? We where hoping to have an interview in Oct at Vancouver and move the first week in Nov, but now Im starting to wonder if we missed a step somewhere or that this move isnt going to be possible! Can anyone help, Have I missed something somewhere ?

Have you called NVC and talked to an actual person?

Yes my fiancee has called them and all they tell him is that we are not in the system yet, and that it can take up to 90 days to be forwarded to the embassy!! Im trying to plan the move for two kids too so this is making it so hard to make any plans.

NVC said we were not in the system either till the day they sent out our papers to montreal. The day we got into the system is the same day they sent it out. So who knows how they work there it seems theres no set patern.

A lot of people have been taking a long time to get from CSC to NVC lately...it's really annoying, especially when others get through in a day or two. :( Double check with him that he's talking to a live person...K-1 visas do not get entered into their automated system, so if you just punch your number to the automated system it will ALWAYS tell they don't have it. Hopefully it will get there soon.

Thank you all for trying to help.. Our application was received on Thursday Aug 28th, and processed On Friday 29th.. its on the way to the embassy now..... So a little worried over nothing again I guess this whole processes is starting to make me feel older and older
