After every such experience, US citizen should write to correct authorities, their congressman and senators. Only then will such behavior start changing. Each one of such jerk officer's salary is being paid from your tax dollars! So why won't you demand the same quality of service from these officers that you'd from one inside US? Only by making your voice heard loud & clear will things change. And you're also helping those coming behind you.

All you need to do to write to the correct authorities is as simple as going to the contact web-page of USCIS or State Department. You can use contact or feedback or ombudsman email address on those web-pages. You can avoid your personal details and only mention the consular location, officer name/number if possible or time/day of visit.

Take action for change. Demand accountability.

huta, that mean lady co is not there anymore. After my interview, that was the time that they changed all the consulates. Our batch was stuck in document verification. Instead of three weeks, I got my visa in three months.

It has been a year and two months since this happened. I am now here in US and got my greencard 3 months ago. My ex-fiance, now my husband and I are doing great. I was right all along. He is a very loving husband and very good father to my son. We have our occassional lover's quarrel but our experience always reminds us how much we wanted to be with each other so...

Anyway, Im now 37 weeks pregnant and it feels like I will give birth anytime now.
