I am going to Penny Arcade Expo this Saturday. I am so excited. :) It is gonna be oodle of fun.

Don't bring anything that would annoy another attendee or set us up for a crazy lawsuit. PAX is not an event run by some giant corporate entity; it's a big party we throw for the gaming community in general and PA readers in particular. Have fun, but be cool.

Mags is going to a porcine sacrifice Sunday afternoon. I'll go for a bike ride and then take a long nap. Maybe offer a blood sacrifice to Brid that evening. Worship the moon a bit....

Then Monday we're supposed to be going tubing/canoing with friends at Turkey Run State Park.

We have some friends coming over night tomorrow, but after that the fun stops and it's all about packing and going for my medical on Monday...I'm not allowing hubby to join us cos he will turn it into a jaunt and he is more useful at home :P

We are driving down to New Orleans tonight, at least this was the plan... I just called the hotel there and they said that we could still come, even though there is a hurricane heading that way, but they won't close untill the city orders evacuation. :o I guess we will check with them tomorrow morning again, since we are supposed to get there tomorrow night and stay for 2 nights. :wacko: It really sucks, we have been planning this trip for some time now and I really worry that it is not going to work out! We want to leave New Orleans on Sunday morning so if there is no evacuation I hope we will be fine, otherwise we might be stuck in traffic forever! Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Going to watch a football game at my sweetie's apartment Saturday and then Sunday we are going for a nice long hike!

Only thing is I am dreading the insane border lineups tomorrow afternoon when I drive down from Vancouver. :dead:

Jan 23 '08 ~ met online

Mar '08 ~ 1st visit to Vancouver

May '08 ~ 2nd visit to Vancouver

Jun 08 ~ plans to move to the west coast!

Aug 8 08 ~ he moves to Bellingham

current ~ many trips back and forth across the border...
