Hi, honey.

It’s been my second birthday since we met each other. Even though you are not here next to me, I can still feel you.

I still remember the same day last year. You were the first one who called me to say “Happy birthday”. Since I spent that birthday with my cousin because we were born on the same day, I didn’t spend that much time with you. (By the way, my cousin’s English name is Ken.) This year, I planned to spend this birthday with Ken and Yunny, however, I was sick. I got such a hot fever that I had to stay at the hospital. But on the other hand, I had more time getting along with you——even just through the camera.

I knew you called me last night my time which was early in the morning your time to say “Happy birthday” to me. I appreciate that you still want to be the first one on this special day. Even though I didn’t get your phone call because I went to bed very early, I was deeply moved this morning when I checked my cell phone.

When you called me the first time this morning, I was accepting my injection in the hospital by myself. Mom went to the hospital to see my grandmother and Day went to work. Although it’s my birthday, I could totally understand them not being here with me. But when I asked you to sing me the birthday song, I couldn’t help myself crying, not because I was sad, instead, I was so happy to have you being my company. Meanwhile, you keep your promise because you owed me this birthday song from my last birthday. You might tell me that you did give me the song last year. All right, you gave it to me through the e-mail. I didn’t get your voice. This time, it’s realistic.

When you sang the birthday song to me the second time today, I cried again. Because you companied me after I came home from the hospital until mid-night your time. I knew that you had been pretty tired from teaching, so that I was deeply moved again by whatever you’ve done for me. When you asked me to say “thank you” to my Mom, because she brought me into this world for you, I’ve ever been so moved like that. I wish I could go through the computer to you.

Honey, it’s the first birthday I’ve ever had. I have you, NOA2, my family and all best wishes from my friends. I’m the happiest one today. Right now, I don’t feel fever, I don’t feel uncomfortable on my body, I only feel happy.

I love you

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
