How far out has London been scheduling interviews lately?

Just curious to how long out London is scheduling the interviews or if one person gets one a week away while another gets one 2 months away.....? Thanks!

You can look at interviews in the timeline search function. Have you done that before. In the menu bar where it says "Immigration Timelines".

In the first clump of links, the bottom one says "Timeline Search". The you just do these drop downs--

Visa type: K1

Embassy: London, UK

Simple or Detailed results: Detailed

Now you can search any dates you want. The blanks at the bottom are for interview, so I would leave everything else blank and fill in the bottom line looking for people with interviews. Maybe use the dates 2008-07-31 and 2008-09-30. That would show you any interviews scheduled for August and September. Then you could look at dates for P3, P4, Interview and get an idea of how long it took people.

One last thing is the drop down

Max results: ALL

Then Submit.

If you look at my timeline, the interview took longer because we asked for a later date. Had travel plans in early July that we didn't want to cancel, so asked for the interview late July.

When I was looking through the timelines on here and on my lawyers website most appeared to be scheduled a month from receiving the letter with the interview date but ours was 2 weeks. Jonathan received the letter on a Monday and the interview was the Friday of the next week! I had to scramble to find last minute airline tickets and all that but it was worth it. Hope yours comes just as fast!

It looks like from sending everything in its on average about 28 days wait or so with a few being under 25 and one being nearly 40 days.

Thanks guys I am hoping and praying since CSC took so darn long with our approval maybe they will take some pity upon us and give us a quick interview! We sure are writing a letter begging them for one ASAP!

does anyone know how long your medicals are valid for? Cos i would like for Vito to hold my hand at that(hate needles ), if he can't for interview (would perfer he was there for both) hes comming over on the 25th sept and here till 9th oct and this will prob be the last trip he will be able to make till i come over with my visa, touch wood. only we haven't got our NOA2 yet, but i'm hoping that may filers will start getting theirs by the end of this month, so even though i doubt the embassy will have recieved our petiton by the time Vito comes over, would it be crazy to get my medical done while he is here? or do i have to wait for the embassy to send me my packet three?

Our noa1 is may 1st by the way.

We are waiting right now too. Sent the packet in on the 5th so I'm hoping for a date in the first week of Sept.

Oh, I am glad to find this thread.

I was told by the Embassy that it was taking 8 weeks to schedule an interview from their receipt of packet 3. Maybe they are "under-promising" but "over-delivering"?

I just started a thread about begging for an earlier date. I don't know if you guys know whether this works or not? I guess it can't hurt.

As far as I know its not possible, though i'm not sure how they choose them in the first place. I just noticed that someone who sent their packet 3 days after us and have a 4/9/08 interview while we're still waiting...sounds like USCIS all over again.

That person was maybe us and we put on our forms that we wanted to travel and marry ASAP.

do you know if you have to wait for a number or form before you can have your medical done? we seem to be a little unsure about this in another thread, someone thinks like i used to that because they are valid for a little while you can get them done early someone else like me now thinks you might need to present them with a form or number from either nvc or embassy, so they can tie it in with your case at the embassy and also sent things on to it? :unsure:

No, but things can get misplaced or lost or put under another.

UK interviews have always taken 8-12 weeks. If you have a hard date (& proof) of an upcoming wedding, it may work in getting a faster date. Summer holidays or Christmas holidays affect timing, obviously.

UK is a very fast consulate, count your blessings.
