Just talked to a NVC rep, was told the expedite request has been granted and the file will be forwarded to US consulate in Kuala Lumpur shortly. The rep told me the AVR will be updated soon and he confirmed that we now pay the fees, submit the AOS package and DS-230 package to the consulate.

Bravo, NVC, takes one week to approve the expedite request!!

Congrats... I really hope all goes really smooth for you both from now on... May you please share with me how did you request exoedite processing from NVC? and what are their requirements for expedite?... Our petition still pending at VSC but we had USCIS expedite request approved on June 15th and since we are being told our petition should be transferred to NVC next week I was just wondering what do I need to do to get it expedite through NVC too ( we were approved by USCIS expedite processing on the basis of to avoid financial loss to and individual and a company and for medical reasons) ... I really appreciate if you can share some details to help me out, and again Congrats... best of luck to both of you...

Call NVC after 4-5 business days, wait until the AVR says case # is assigned, you can email NVC.

My husband emailed the request to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov with attention to: PI Supervisor Sue. He scanned all the supporting documents and attached them as pdf files. Of course you can mail the hard copy to the NH address, attention to the same person.

You must quote your NVC case #, USCIS receipt #, Beneficiary's name and DOB, petitioner's name and DOB in your correspondence to NVC.

Leah
