Glad to see you crossed the hurdles in your NVC process and successfully completed it (F) Your case will be forwarded in 2 weeks to the embassy and wishing a smooth interview... So, your habibi can join you in another 1.5 to 2 months time :dance::dance::dance:

Apr 24th, 2008 Sent AOS Bill to NVC

Apr 24th, 2008 emailed NVC for Choice of Agent.

May 2nd, 2008 email accepted for Choice of Agent

May 5th, 2008 Immigrant Visa Fee bill generated

May 8th, 2008 Got IIN and paid Immigrant visa bill Online

you applied your card right away after POE ? or you filed in interview?

She had filled the Social Security Application Form as part of her VFS office visit. VFS had forwarded this form to the Consulate. She also saw this form at the Consulate as part of her interview documents checklist prepared by the first lady interviewed her.

One of the reasons (just one of the reasons) for some people to apply SSN at the Social Security office after reaching in the U.S is missing to complete this Social Security Application as part of the consulate interview. This form is in addition to the questions about SSN on DS-230. However, questions on DS-230 and this form are almost identical in nature, that's funny ! I think (just think) POE officer forwards or informs this form to SS office and I believe (just believe) one of the forms in the hidden sealed envelope is this form...

Hey Loto, now you are PPO?

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!
