was just curious how often people are paid. do you prefer being paid a certain way? is it more convenient to pay all the bills at once if you get paid monthly or do you find it easier to spread it out a bit with being paid weekly?

Once a month for the "real" job. On the 5th and the 20th for the second job. All the bills and the savings come out of the real check and the second job check is just for fun, or wedding, or gas, or usually....the kids

I get paid WEEKLY and I love it, at my company you are either weekly paid, or monthly....I don't think I could make it on monthly pay.

I get paid monthly, first time for me. In the past weekly or bi-weekly. Not sure how I lkie it yet.

John monthly, most of the time, though b/c the way farming works there can be gaps, where no payment is available for a period.

I get paid monthly - on the last working day of each month. So that means that I get paid around the 20th of December since we have off for Christmas/New Years and then I don't get paid again until January 31st. That stretch is too long. You really have to be good with money.

The good thing is that hubby gets paid weekly and I do freelance work for a company that pays biweekly. The latter is my preference.

Teachers in the system where I teach get paid monthly. I've never known anything different.

Hubby gets paid biweekly. I think he likes that. At his first job here it was monthly. That was hard but it did help us budget well.

i get paid a salary check on the 1st & 15th & a commission check on the 6th.

I get paid semi-monthly, which isn't an option on your poll.

1st and 15th of every month, or the business day before if it isn't a business day.

Bi-weekly means once every two weeks; i.e. 26 pay period per year.

Semi-monthly means 24 pay periods per year.

I don't care how often they pay me as long as they pay me. I've been paid monthly before and that was cool too.

I also get paid this way and my previous job was monthly. I hated the monthly! Every week would be nice
