Awwwwwwwww, thanks, my mother just had her knee replaced and she had to have blood, so I know it means a lot when someone does donate.

Seriously. They have you fill in a form that has written guidelines on the back for what rules you out as a donor.

I was considering giving blood again as the fainting happened a few years ago but I found out that you can't give blood for a year once you have had a tattoo. Once that year is up I'll probably be in the US so I still won't be able to.
