This afternoon, my wife submitted all doccument which the consulater office required. They gave my wife another blue slip. In this slip, it says that your case requires additional processing in our office, you dont need to submit futher documents. You will contact you when we have finished your case. My wife and I are very sad and worry now. Anyone has the same our situation? What can I do now or just wait?.

They need time to review the documents you submitted. At least they didn't send it back to the USCIS. I would give it a little time and then contact them if you don't hear from them.

I had similar situation and waited 3 months before they gave us an answer. Hopefully your outcome is much better than mines. Our case was sent back to USCIS. They told us our relationship was a sham and they didn't believe us. We then went the CR-1 way and now we are finally going to be together this Friday. Best wishes to you and your love one.

thank you, I am already going on CR-1. It means if they send back my case, I just have resubmit CR-1, and I won't have a better chance. I think maybe I waith some more week and will contact with the consulate.

niceman and rodney,

Make sure you email and call the consulate EVERY Week to get an update on your case status... Don't want the files got push back down on the pile :)

Be polite of course!

I just called ME. He said that I should wait about 2-3 month before hire him, because I need to let they (CO) have time to review and make some investigates information which we submitted. After that time, if we dont have any answer form Consulate, call him again. I hope I got the good advice from ME.

i am going to have my fiancée make an appointment with him for a consult. she is going back to the consulate in a few days to give them what they asked for all evidence they didn't look at in the initial interview, time line, and high school or college records of my fiancée. i am also including sworn statements from family, friends, and co workers that me and van have a legit relationship and they knew about it. if i am lucky they will approve her visa and we can fly back together. i am going back to vn the 8th of august too see her. gonna visit co if nothing has changed. anyone know if statements help any? when she turns in documents does she just wait to hear something or will they tell her too come back? she have too interview again usually?
