Hello Guys,

I just want to share my daughter's CRBA experience. She's approved today.Mr.CO is very nice.He made it quick and very easy.He is really nice.I love him na j/k....LoL!

After I talked to Jonah (lostgurl),Ate Ann (jego_ryu) and Ainee (dont know if she's a VJ member too) but thanks anyways to them for all the tips and advices.I prayed my rosary last night before I went to bed.Woke up 5:30AM....I was too excited and nervous so I ready myself already while my daughter was still sleeping. My fiancee called to wake me up to make sure We won't be late for the appointment. He was surprised coz I'm awake already. Then he said good luck and that he will call me after the appointment.

I woke up my daughter and gave her a bath and dressed her.Had a breakfast and brushed our teeth after and I put 1 peso coin each on my talampakan and stick it there with scotch tape. .Very funny, but it's effective nman I think...coz I saw on TV that one woman won 1 million coz of the coin she putted under her foot.We left the hotel 8am,went to Ermita Shrine to pray.Got to ACS at 8:30AM.

Waited for a while and had some chikka chikka to some people there who had appointment also for theur child.

My daughter's name called at 9:30 AM.

Filipina pre-screener interview: She said that my daughter is really cute. She asked me this questions:

How did I met my fiancee?Where?

Is he still in the military?

How long you been together now?

Where is your fiancee?I said...He's in Florida

Is your fiancee was here when you gave birth?I said No.He wasn't here and she said.."That's okay"

Why my daughter's BC is late registered?I said bcoz I sent it to my fiancee in the US to sign it and she said "Oh,I see"

Why we just applied her CRBA now?I said..bcoz we didnt know about it.We just found about it when we filed I-129F.

When did we filed?I said Dec.2007

And she gave me a paper and told me to go to C-1 to pay the fee and it cost P6,750.00 and go back and put the receipt at Window E and I got the customer's copy which is for me and had a seat again and wait for my daughter's name to be call by the CO.

10:45 AM Interview and appearance of my daughter at CO window.

The Consul was very nice.He really likes my daughter.

He told me to raised my right hand and swear. He explained the 3 things to established Citizenship.

1.Paternity....My fiancee signed the back of our daughter's BC and also he made a new one again and made it notarized and I attached it with the BC

2.Child support....I submitted all the money receipts

3.Physical Presence.....I submitted everything, proofs of relationships, pictures, prenatal records, military records, ticket itineraries, boarding pass, hotel receipts, flight reservation, hotel booking, phone bill,emails/chat sessions, emails from my fiancee's Dad,family pictures,I made scrapbook of my daughter's pictures from new born to present and the CO like it.He said that my daughter is really cute and that he can see that she got her looks from her daddy.

He saw me that I brought another album and some papers,he said he dont need it bcoz he is very satisfied with what I submitted to them and he said its a lot and heavy. So we laugh bcoz of that. Finally he congratulate me that my daughter is approved and that I will receive her passport and CRBA in 2weeks.

The only question he asked me is:

What is the status of my K1?If we are still waiting for approval? If I'm done with my medical and interview..I said we already got approved last April 11 and its valid until August 11 (Thanks Ate Ann (Jego Ryu) and that my fiancee will call for appointment soon.He said "Good luck" Have a seat bcoz I cant give you the documents you submitted coz the window is too small. The pre-screener came out of their office and gave me all of it and she also congratulated me and that she likes the scrapbook. She said "Sulit yung mga pinasa ko and yung CO na nag-interview sa akin, hindi na tinignan yung folder na pinass ko".And told me that the only thing Im going to prepare now is my K1 interview.Thats all.Finished and left the building at 11AM.

Thanks to all who given me tips and advices and for sharing their CRBA experience...Thanks to tzeksman,Ate Ann,Ainee,ANGKANO and to Jonah (lostgurl)....Congrats din sayo coz finally you got ur visa na.Pa-cheese burger ka.LoL!!

God is so good.God Bless to ALL of us here.

Hi bluemist,

Hi there lady23...Is ur friend working on CRBA and U.S.Passport of child?I mean is that what she/he is asking for? Well, its in my signature. To make it short...I submitted my daughter's application for her Consular Report of Birth Abroad and U.S.Passport on July 08,2008 together with the other requirements so she can claimed her citizenship from his USC father (my fiancee). The USEM-American Citizens Services Department received it July 10,2008 and they called me July 11,2008 for appointment and that was last Thursday July 24..on that day she got approved (She's US Citizen now) bcoz the consul was satisfied with all the documents I submitted to them and I will receive my daughter's CRBA and U.S.Passport in 2 weeks.

So it took 2weeks only for the process of my daughter's papers.

It still depends..some of the people who had same appointment of my daughter were asked for DNA test and that takes so long.Luckily we didnt need that.

Don't worry matatanggap nyo na NOA2.I can feel it.

Kala ko ba hndi na kayo mag-CRBA kc hndi pa kamo US Citizen fiancee mo nung ipinanganak yung anak nyo.Yung sa anak din nman nmin apelyido na ng daddy nya kahit di pa kmi kasal.Basta ibigay mo lahat proofs ng relationship nyo simula nung nagkakilala kayo hnggang before conception ng anak nyo and after his birth.Wait.PM ko sayo.
