I was approved yesterday, but I have another update today...Is that OK? WHat does that mean?

:star:

upon reading this i checked ours online and got another update too,so i guess they're be forwarding it now to NVC :)

You guys... I got that one touch on the 23rd.. does that mean it was sent then? I called CSC today and the lady told me that I had to wait 30 days bla bla bla and that there is no way they can track it....? But looking at others' time lines it looks like it's just a matter of days.... I'm hoping for my honey to be with me in about a month since we don't need to wait for an interview date. What do you guys think? Wishful thinking?

On average...how long does it take from CSC to NVC and from NVC to CDJ... AND CDJ to P3? Anyone have a clue?

Sorry I ask so many questions...

Thanks guys.

upon checking other members timeline they called and got their new case number after a week of being approved so i guess we still have to wait for a few more days before calling NVC,that wont be long and i hope we'll get it next week ;)

It simply means they are getting it ready to ship to the National Visa Center (NVC) :)

How do you know this? What do you mean by "getting it ready"? If you have some insight into the inner workings of the CSC in regard to what happens after the NOA2 is mailed to the petitioner, I'd be interested in learning about that.

I've been trying to watch how quickly other NOA2s from the CSC are being received by the NVC to see if there's any rhyme or reason to this step. I'm sensitive to this right now, because many petitions approved after mine have already made it to the NVC and mine has not. My NOA2 was July 9, and I've already received the hard copy (that's all I've received).

I simply meant most people get touched after their NOA2 because their petition is being shipped off to NVC. Perhaps I used the wrong wording and you are reading far too much into it.

After NOA2 the petition gets shipped to NVC...simple as that.

Let's Keep the Song Going!!!

NVC will send you a paper letter with a new case number on it. Mine starts LND xxx for London. But you can call them maybe a week after NOA2 and ask if they have your case. Do not put in your EACxxxxx number in the automated thing. K1s are not entered in that...it's for other things. Speak to a person. Ask when arrived, when it left, and your new case number. It's fast...see my timeline.

Read this post http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...0494&st=184 more detall about NVC

Ignore the other stuff about Juarez. Look up your embassy.
