Question about Proof

Okay so. My fiance and I are a little puzzled about proof. He's come to visit three times, and I went over there once, but we no longer have an itineraries from this and who knows where the boarding passes are. However, the last time he was here he stayed the entirety of the 90day visa waver. Would copies of his & mines passport stamps and his bank statements(he withdrew money over here on four occasions throughout his stay) be good enough? We have very few photos of us, and the ones we do have aren't very good in quality. We also chat online nearly everyday and I phone him multiple times a week. Would copies of my phone bills and our emails help as well? I don't want to get a RFE and delay things longer. Thanks!

right, the proof thing.....when I sent my petition I sent about 6 photo's - some of which had other people in them. I dated them all and wrote the names of everyone in them on the back.

I sent photocopies of the stamps in both of our passports which showed the dates we visited (highlight them if you can)

I sent receipts of purchases I made while over there and I sent phone records - from both of us. Oh, and copies of emails. That was it.

Whilt waiting for interview I visited again and saved all boarding cards etc, I had a massive thick file when I got to the embassy, but they never even asked for it!

Well I do have pictures of him at landmark's here and in pictures with other people. So I guess those would work then? I'm just a little worried they might not be enough. But if you did all that and got by then I guess it's not so bad. :) Thanks!

You will need a couple of photographs of you guys together - but as anyone on here will tell you, photo's are secondary evidence :)

From what I understood, primary proof are passport stamps and boarding passes while pics are secondary proof. Anyways, I think if you have passport stamps (where you can read the dates pretty well) and bank statements and 3/4 pics of you two together, you should be good to go...I don't think quality of the photo is very important...hope I could help! =)

We sent in pics from each trip and wrote the date and where it was taken think we had about 10

Copies of all pages from out passports, and did not hi lite the entries which is a good idea

Copies of the e-tickets, dont have the boarding cards I always seem to loose them

I did not send in any e-mail copies or evidence of drawing out money in the States

Hopefully we wont get a RFE on any of it, but we did get out NOA1 in under a week

Good luck with yours and welcome to VJ, there are so many great people here who are willing to help and it is great being able to talk to people in the same boat

Shaz

As stated above, you should be able to get some sort of proof of travel / intinerary from the airlines. Photos are secondary so send what you have to prove you have met in the last two years. Most of us include a few photos as well. Start documenting your relationship now for the Consulate stage.

good luck
