Frustrated!

My husband and sent off his AOS paperwork in September, 2006. The last time it was touched was in November, 2006. We have called and had them submit official inquiries, and never heard anything back. We have had an infopass appointment in our local office, in which the officer new nothing of our case and could tell us nothing. We did follow her instructions and fax the California Service Center. We followed all directions to a T. Still we've heard nothing. I'm going to call on Monday and submit an official inquiry again, and ask them what we can do from here. I really don't know. I'm very frustrated and have no idea what my options are.

Did you try getting your congressman involved? Maybe they can help track down your case & get the "true" status of what is going on, and if its just USCIS's fault... or if they are waiting on getting back info from you, and you may not even know it!

Getting your congressman involved would definitely be the next step to take. Search posts about involving them for more information.

What I've heard is that when a congressman asks they have to let him know what's going on within a certain number of days.
