I came here on K-1, my AOS was denied for technical reasons (I made a mistake with submitting documents for RFE) and I reapplied this february. I got my interview date recently for the end of june. But of course the time everybody has to wait for AOS varies depending on where the applicants live.

What happend with the RFE! That sounds pretty harsh to deny like that..

They asked for a medical, but I had one done already within that year. So my husband called their help line to clear that up and they told him not to worry about it and just send the vaccinations supplement. And so we did and got denied, because they wanted the whole medical. Which doesn't make any sense because they instructions say that if you had one medical in a year period then you don't need another one. I didn't have an interview, or a letter of intent to deny like some people get, just a denial letter right away. Had to reapply and wait all over again... luckily Phoenix DO is going much faster now with AOS.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
