HELLO EVERYONE ... WE JUST RECIVE ( I-797C Notice of Action ) TODAY .... SO WHAT ABOUT AFTER THIS AND WE RECIVE THIS AFTER 8 DAY'S ... I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THIS MEAN AND WHAT THEM WELL DO ... AND US PAPER'S AT ( VERMONT SERVICE CENTER ) WHAT ABOUT THIS CENTER THIS FAST OR SLOW .... ? I WAIT ANSWER FROM ENYONE .... THANKS FOR HELP ..

That is your NOA1, saying they received your petition. Now you wait for your NOA2. Vermont was being very slow, but lately they have been approving petitions. Now, all you can do is wait.

Now, you can go to the USCIS website and set up an account with the number on that paper and watch for the approval. :thumbs:

lucky you u recieved your noa1 in certain days.. we received our NOA1 3 months from the day we filed it.... wait for noa2 for the approval goodluck

You have recieved your notice of action letter indicating they have recieved your petition and robbed you of your 355.00. Other than that, from my own experiance, I have learned it means "nothing".

Nothing will happen for God knows how long and you have just entered the black hole of nothingness called Vermont. Not to put a damper on your journey becuase the end result will be oh so wonderful, reuniting with our spouses, but I must be honest in saying that VSC stinks!

PS: I recieved mine in 7 days and the end result is I am still waiting.
