Hello all,

does anyone have any idea of what the time line is for a rescheduled interview.

My wife was out of the country on an advance parole, when they granted her interview. You would think they wouold know.

We have been waiting almost 4 months to hear about a rescehduled interview.

Any help would be great

David

wow, we have already recieved our Biometrics appointments. It is only 2 1/2 weeks away.

It seems to be moving rather quickly.

This is great.

Why would you infer that they would know she is away on her AP when they schedule an interview? There are literally millions of people that are going through adjustment of status.

According to the NOA for the interview, you may be subject to removal if you miss your interview, without giving advance notice.

Didn't you tell her that she had an interview while she was out of the country?

She was granted an advance parole as she had to go to Moscow, I cancelled the interview which they were okay with when I explained the circumstances, but now the wait is taking so long.

Oh! Now I get it.

As for the rescheduled interview, I've heard that it's arbitrary. There isn't a specific timeline in terms of how soon you get one. People have expereinced different results. Some waited another 2 months for a rescheduled interview.

How did you 'cancel' the interview? Did you do that formally with an infopass appointment or did you call the misinformation line?

If you handled it by picking up the phone, her case could be in jeopardy. I would suggest she make an Infopass NOW and inquire about the status of her case.
