If you guys need something to do, and want to actually contribute back to VJ, can I suggest stopping by the Site Discussion forum? We are soliciting corrections to the FAQs. Anyone can go thru pages of the FAQs besides the one in my thread there and check for broken links, up to date contact info, questions with bad answers.. .lots of things.

There is no VJ fairy who comes along to maintain OUR information; it's up to all of us to keep it current and meaningful.

Gimy: might want to add nayalamb to the list....

hey! i think its the first time i've actually been mentioned in a post! usually i just kill them...

and since i am stuck in quarantine and haven't seen sunlight in nearly two damn weeks and just spent my 1st month anniversary slugging down vicodin, the least i can do is up myself to 750 posts so i can finally customize that little thing above the blue dotty things! i will send my congrats & welcome to VJs as long as it takes and whoever doesn't like it can kiss my avatar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as for posting helpful info ... that's why i haven't posted in the visa forums lately ... so many REDUNDANT questions and people who can't /don't check the guides or FAQ's. i'll try and stop by and check out the FAQs one day!!

but for the record (since you missed my thread about it), i've been stuck home for a while. the hubby got sick and now i am too. so i'm beyond grumpy... somewhere between b*tchy and wretched. so i will gladly take that special dispensation for flagrant misuse of "congrats", "welcome to VJ", and " ".

now i'm going to bed to rest my weary self. all those "congrats" make my fingers tired. night all!

I dont see why so many people are concerned with "upping their posts" anyway, it isn't like you get anything tangible for getting an extra heart on your membership or being raised to a different status. Isn't this forum a place for discussion about fiance visa issues and problems? Some people just don't get the point, I think, this is only my opinion.

I don't see anything wrong with giving congrats to people when it is deserved, that is part of being a member of this forum, is giving people congrats and responding to their good news.....I don't even keep up with how many posts I have, I could really care less about that. At this point, all I want is my petition to be approved. This forum is a way for me to pass the time and keep my sanity while I am waiting for my petition to be approved. I don't go and start meaningless topics just to get posts so my rating or whatever it is goes up. So, no I don't think I am the pot calling the kettle black, thank you, but you as well as everyone else on here is entitled to their own opinion.
