Hi, I was very happy to find this forum. It is nice to know my husband and I are not alone. I live in Colorado and my husband lives just south of Montreal. He and I were married on 03/15/2007 and we are expecting our first child together around August 19. We are going to have a boy.

I haven't seen him Since March 29th, 2008 and we are hoping and praying the approval of the K3 or the immigrant visa will be miraculously quick so that he can come and be here for the birth of our baby.

My journey thus far:

I sent my I130 to the Nebraska Service Center on: 5/10/08

Received notice that it was sent to the wrong service center on:5/20/08

I sent my I130 with the notice I had sent the original to the Chicago Service Center on:5/20/08

Received:5/21/08

letter sent to us that it was received on:5/23/08

received it:5/27/08

Check cleared my bank for the I130 fee on: 5/27/08

Sent off my I29F to the California Service Center: 5/28/08

it drives us both crazy not being together. he visits me twice a year since we met but he haven't visited me yet this year caz i want him to be with me on my interview. we always chat and call each other everyday to make the distance closer. I miss my husband so much too :crying: that's why we keep on praying that i hope this journey will be done so soon caz we want to build a family of our own :D. Hey how about you? what makes you busy while waiting on this process. Nice meeting you here :)

Twice a year?!? Wow. I think it is incredible! This has been such a hard thing for me. :crying: We weren't aware of some of the immigration rules and laws and now we are bit behind because of it. He and I talk, but not as much as we did before we got married and he was here with me. He says it is because their internet is dial up now instead of cable which makes things slow, but that has made it hard too. We talk a couple times a week, but I wish it was more. Last night we talked until 3am which was soo nice, but it's not the same as being able to cuddle and stuff. I am doing water aerobics and other activities to keep myself busy during this LONG journey. I pray things go well for you and that you and your hubby and me and my hubby will all be together without anything standing in the way soon! :)
